Election Result - Sponsored Beer Up

Yet another friday beer up at Candidas! This time round the memorable cause was the highly contested student government elections. There were quite a few close races, so the tabulation of votes took much longer than expected. However, no one really seemed to mind, considering the fact that free beer was flowing and everyone was having a blast. Thanks to the initative of the Grad Committee who was organizing this beer up we also had our first ever (? - not sure about that - as far as I know they were our first ever) drinking games.

Two heats of 5 compted. Liz was the only girl brave enough to enter into the challenge, having gotten a huge confidence boost in her dirinking abilities at the Law Games. The winner of the first heat ended up being Dan - edging Liz out probably in the saltines and not the beer. The second heat was shattered by Paul who finished his two beers and 6 saltines even before the rest of the competition got to their second beer. The final between the two guys was equally lopsided with Paul being the uncontested champion. As a prize - well - $100 to the Pan Pacific Hotel is not too shabby. I wonder though if that's enough to book a room there?
